I know, its been a couple weeks. I just returned from St. Augustine where I spent the weekend in an oceanside million dollar condo. I am fortunate enough to have friends who's parents spend the winter with the other "snow birds" who migrate south each January. Chip got to play golf and I got to walk the beach for miles with my i-pod. Now that I am back from rubbing elbows with the rich its back to my normal life. Its nice to see how the other half lives. I wonder what its like to live with out money worries. I wonder if that will ever be me. I hope so. I don't need much, especially not a condo by the sea. I just want peace of mind that my bills are paid and I don't have to constantly explain to my husband why I paid a bill late.

- I am a wife of 21 years, a mother of 20 years. I am currently existing in the zone between working mom and working wife. Trying to fill the void. My kids are still at home. One is in college but attends the local university. She plans to transfer in the fall to a college two hours away. I think she will really enjoy that. My son is a junior in High School. He still seems to need me. I am encouraging him to grow some wings. He needs a little more help then his sister. Thats ok, but I am working hard at helping him launch out on his own. My goal in writing these blogs is to share a little piece of my life. I am sure there are millions just like me. I want to share the wounds life has inflicted on me. I see it as part of my healing process. I am a terrible introvert with friends who are extroverts. I really don't think anyone cares about me or my feelings. Mostly because I don't share them. I just listen to everyone else lament and smile. I just cry on the inside or when nobody is looking. So I hope my posts bring you tears of understanding for your own soul as I share mine.
